The Woldt hall story is a "lesser" ghost story--it is not well known, nor well documented, nor even very fleshed out. It is included here for completeness' sake.
The story takes place on the Terrace level of Woldt Hall (i.e. the basement level, 1/2 floor below ground), in one of the typical CMU three-room suites. Resident Assistants in Woldt supposedly know the room number, but will not give it out, since people still live there. Supposedly, a young girl was murdered in the room some years ago--no one knows by whom, or with what, or when it was, though either a jealous boyfriend or an auto accident usually figure into the story. Since the girl's death, little things seem to happen in the room--moved books, bumps in the night, and so on, the kinds of things usually described as minor poltergeist activity.
The most popular part of the Woldt Hall story involved a girl taking a shower. Her roommates were all gone (presumably at class) and the room door was locked, and the bathroom door closed. She never heard either door open, or anyone come into the bathroom, but when she got out of the shower, she was surprised to see words scrawled into the steamed-up bathroom mirror. "Help me, help me!" it read. The girl was terribly frightened by the experience, demanding to know if her roommates had snuick in and played a prank on her. None of them had done it, however, and the girl was so disturbed by the incident that she could not stay in the room, and in fact dropped out the end of the semester.
